William H A Weston's history of August 1985 names Samuel as 'Daniel' and states "Died in Pretoria, South Africa of tuberculosis, went out there, sent by the family. No information about his marriage but his daughter, Violet, was looked after by the families in Warriner Gardens up to her marriage, which took place at 52 Warriner Gardens and I believe she was "given away" by my father William Weston, married Frederick Howard
